Snapper (Mark I) for CT®

The nifty little invention to the left is an eye-nut / u-bolt combination which when used in conjunction with the "Seat Stabilizer" provides security and prevents the seat from sliding back during acceleration, especially on steep hill climbs. The Mark I is lighter and easier to deal with than the first prototype, which was a cross bar / dual-eyebolt combination.

I found cutting threads in the pieces of stainless steel to be more than a little challenging. This is tough stuff, and it would chip a lot. There was no damage to the taps or dies that I could see. But it was tough going from start to finish. I don't believe this accessory would be safe to use on any other Bike E models.
