This website is best viewed with Mozilla Firefox® version 2.0 or better.

My website is a simple website with minimal hypertext markup language (HTML), and a basic understanding of cascading style sheets (CSS) and JavaScript (js). Most pages should be viewable using Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) or higher, but some formatting will not be presented the same way in IE as it would using Firefox. Safari version 3.2.1 for Macintosh also works well.

The below lists are presented in alphabetical order, whereas their contents are presented by level of importance as determined by their author.

Furthermore, the item lists in the below disclaimers are fairly complete, but are NOT to be interpreted as universal truths. I will try to accommodate and/or present differences of opinion when possible, and update list items when such action is warranted.

Recumbent Bicycles

  • Recumbent bicycles (recumbents) are not a cure-all for bicycle related back issues (or any back issues);
  • Recumbents, depending on what you want, can be more costly than uprights;
  • Recumbents, because they tend to be heavier than uprights, are typically harder to pedal up steep hills.
  • Sport recumbents, and of course "low riders," can coast down steep hills at unsafe speeds (more so than uprights).
